Hurley Medical Center, the Flint Farmers’ Market and the YMCA of Greater Flint are joining forces to bring the community a Wellness Hub within the Flint Farmers’ Market.
Earlier this month, a permanent kiosk was established for the Wellness Hub at the market. This kiosk will be staffed from 11am to 1pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Each month there will be a different health focus, and various interactive opportunities, which will include health screenings, cooking and fitness demonstrations, car seat checks and much more. The kiosk will also be stocked with healthy recipe cards for the public to take home, as well as information on Hurley Wellness Center and YMCA programs.
A press conference was held at the market yesterday that included a surprise announcement by Hurley that they would soon be occupying the market’s second floor office space with a new pediatric clinic. Read the Full Story Here!
